Comedian Jeff Ross, who is best known as The Roastmaster General of The United States, has been performing shows for members of the United States Armed Forces for the past 14 years.

Jeff started performing for the USO back in 2003 when he traveled to Kuwait and Iraq as part of the Drew Carey Comedy Tour. With many shows in both countries over a seven day period, Jeff decided to arm himself not only with jokes, but with a video camcorder. He filmed the entire trip, which he later turned into an award winning documentary called Patriot Act. Patriot Act has been called the funniest movie to ever come out of Iraq.

In 2016 at the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the USO, Jeff performed for all branches of the military at Joint Base Andrews with The President and Michelle Obama and The Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden in attendance.

Jeff traveled to Iraq with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joseph Dunford and performed four shows in two days for soldiers stuck in a dangerous war zone. Jeff wanted to bring some of home to the brave people defending it.

Jeff is a believer in bringing laughs and entertainment to those who need it most. Jeff’s Specials for Comedy Central have highlighted this as well. He has performed for criminals in a Texas jail, roasted the Boston Police Department and most recently went down to the US/Mexico Border fence in Brownsville, TX to perform for the people of that community who are the most affected by the wall and immigration.
